Man Bag Monday: Thom Browne’s Dark, funny fall 2015 Collection

If you, like me, went to a particularly preppy college, or you grew up in a part of the country that counts boat shoes as a closet essential, then you’ve probably seen plenty of clothes with little whales and turtles embroidered on them. and not just for women, either–I’ve seen plenty of men in navy pants with tiny, red lobsters all over them. As he so typically does, Thom Browne took those preppy tropes and distorted them into a dark, twisted menswear collection.

None of the bags got the all-over animal treatment, but a few of them were turned into real-life embodiments of those animals, including a couple wonderfully creative whale bags. If you (or your man) like things a lot more straight-on traditional, Browne also showed a number of his classic doctor bags in different textures of inky black.
