Logo Love: Fendi’s Kan I F Bag Goes All-Over logo for spring 2018

A few months ago we got a first look at one of Fendi’s newer bags, The Kan I F. You people had some things to say about it—a lot, to be exact! One thing is for sure it seems: you either love the Fendi Kan I F bag or you simply can’t stand it. For spring 2018, Fendi remixes the Kan I F and introduces an all-leather, all-over-logo version. love it or loathe it, one can’t deny that this bag is bold.

The shape of this bag may be one we’ve seen before, but the remixed version has details unlike its predecessor. For starters, the all-over logo leather isn’t smooth, and it kind of feels embossed because the Fs are textured and raised. That detailing in and of itself makes the bag incredibly cool on it’s own, but then you add the whipstitched detailing that adorns the sides of bag, plus the little leather knots, and you’ve unexpectedly got a special bag that is a lot more than just a normal logo look.

Fendi’s spring 2018 collection relied heavily on the use of its logo, and with this bag, it’s clear that the Fendi logo is back and better than ever. This is a bag that I would absolutely love to add to my growing collection. I typically reach for neutrals, and though this bag does come in a neutral shade, I am obsessed with the red and tan version.

One of my favorite things about this bag is still the fact that one of the Fs on the top manage strap is gold while the other is silver. I often get annoyed when I have on contrasting jewelry, so it’s pretty cool—and unique—that this bag has both gold and silver on it. The design is really structured and holds its shape well. It’s nearly a little stiff, but I imagine it will loosen a bit with wear. Overall, the quality of this bag shows, down to every last detail.

This bag, like last season’s version, uses the adaptability of being able to carry the bag two ways: over the carry with the longer strap, or carried by hand with the top manage strap. I’ve said it so lots of times before, but there’s nothing better than a bag that does double duty. Both straps are also completely removable, so you can leave both on or use one at a time. The bag has one interior slit pocket, and the overall dimensions are 7.3″H x 9.8″W x 4.3″D.
