American Apparel’s Return Policy: Unwashed and unaltered items with tags attached and valid receipt may be returned within 45 days from date of purchase. Swimwear, bodysuits, unitards, intimates, cosmetic and grooming products cannot be returned unless defective. Exchanges are alowed within 30 days provided that you present item with receipt.
American Apparel: Online Return policy All returns and exchanges should be made within 45 days of the receipt date. Swimwear, bodysuits, unitards, intimates, cosmetic and grooming products cannot be returned unless defective. Items that have been laundered or altered in any way cannot be accepted for exchange or return. Items purchased from the American Apparel Online store cannot be exchanged or returned at any retail location. If you wish to return or exchange an item for any reason besides defect (see limitations above), you will be responsible for return shipping charges.
